The Athens Euroclinic One-Day Clinic (ODC) is located on the 1st level of the main building and consists of two individual units:
The One-Day Treatment unit
The One-Day Surgery unit
One-Day Treatment (ODT)
The Unit handles malignant tumor cases, in accordance with recognized quality healthcare standards. It is staffed by experienced and trained nurses, who have been certified in Cancer Nursing by the Hellenic Nurses Association (ΗΝΑ) and the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS).
All chemotherapy medications are prepared under aseptic conditions in a special vertical laminar flow hood, and they are administered using special electronic pumps which accurately regulate delivery time and manner.
The Unit has been set up accordingly to allow constant supervision and monitoring of hospitalized patients. The infusion is performed either in special armchairs (9) or in rooms (2 two-bed and 1 three-bed), ensuring privacy.
One-Day Surgery (ODS)
The One-Day Surgery unit has 4 rooms with 2 beds each.
The Unit accommodates patients who undergo surgery, but only require a few hours hospitalization. They are usually simple surgical procedures, such as: abscess lancing, removal of lesions, arthroscopy, cystoscopy, biopsy, pigtail placement/removal, minor plastic surgery.
