At the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Outpatient Clinic, child psychologists and psychiatrists offer psychiatric support to children and adolescents, as well as their families, for problems that may affect their mental health.
The Department physicians also work closely with other Euroclinic Children’s Hospital pediatricians and specialists (Liaison Psychiatry), so as to offer well-rounded psychological and psychiatric support to the hospitalized children and adolescents.
Support is provided to the young patients and their families both throughout their hospitalization and during their visit to the Outpatient Clinic.
Family counseling is also offered to children with diabetes mellitus, obesity and other diseases. The Department physicians also investigate the psychological problems that may affect the health of young patients, working closely with other specialties, and provided that the medical exams have been evaluated.
