The Athens Euroclinic Autoimmune Diseases Department aims at diagnosing and treating a wide range of related conditions. The Department is staffed by an experienced medical team, who implement all the latest therapeutic interventions, based on the individual needs of each patient and any comorbidities.

These diseases may develop in various body systems or organs, including the skin, joints, nervous system, glands, gastrointestinal system, respiratory system and kidneys, and are mostly chronic conditions. They are diagnosed based on clinical imaging, special immunological and general lab tests, and the histopathology emerging from the biopsy of various organs, wherever this is deemed necessary. Contemporary treatments have radically changed the progression of these diseases and the quality of life of patients.
