The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Rheumatology Department aims at diagnosing and treating systemic autoimmune diseases in children up to 16 years of age.
The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital runs a Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic that monitors children with rheumatologic disorders, such as:
- Juvenile idiopathic arthritis
- Systemic lupus erythematosus
- Juvenile dermatomyositis
- Kawasaki disease
- Henoch-Schönlein purpura
- Autoinflammatory diseases (familial Mediterranean fever, PFAPA syndrome, etc)
Note that the severity, as well as the immediate and long-term complications caused by these diseases to developing body systems demand early and proper treatment, along with cooperation among pediatricians, pediatric rheumatologists and other specialists.
