Your discharge day is decided by your attending physician, bearing in mind your safety and health. The attending physician will also give you medical instructions, which you must follow after you are discharged.
If you require help or an escort service to return home, the ward supervisor may arrange for an ambulance transfer, with subsequent charge, or for a taxi to pick you up at the Hospital entrance. If you are insured with Interamerican, you may call the Health line on 1010 and find out the transfer/transportation options available to you through your insurance policy.
