General Information
The Endocrinology Department is staffed by pediatric endocrinologists with long experience and top scientific training, and covers a broad range of endocrine disorders. These may include: short stature, thyroid disorders, adrenal gland disorders, cryptorchidism requiring clinical or hormone monitoring, varicocele, precocious puberty, congenital anomalies of the external and internal genitalia, and metabolic disorders and syndromes.
Apart from investigating these disorders, when it comes to children with obesity and diabetes mellitus, physicians also offer advice on proper nutrition and psychological support, based on the latest scientific developments.

The Department offers comprehensive healthcare services, from diagnosis and lab testing to treatment of children and adolescents with endocrine disorders. The patients also receive proper follow-up.
The Department physicians perform tests for short stature, precocious puberty, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, diabetes mellitus, obesity and other endocrine disorders.

The Radiology Department assists significantly in diagnosing endocrine conditions in young patients, as it is equipped with state-of-the-art devices and offers high resolution ultrasounds and X-rays.
The Department is equipped with the latest Harpenden stadiometer for accurate height measurement, as well as precision scales.
The reliable Diagnostic Lab (microbiology, hormonology, biochemistry) also plays a major role in proper diagnosis.
