I completed my residency in Orthopaedics in 2003 at NIMTS hospital. I then had a fellowship in hip surgery in Cambridge, UK, and started my private practice in 2004, focusing mainly in hip and knee reconstructive surgery. At the beginning, I worked also part-time at Hygeia Hospital and for SOS Doctors in Athens up to 2008, along with my cooperation with Lefkos Stavros Hospital. At that time, I started working for the health care section of the Bank of Greece and at the same time as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Euroclinic Hospital. Since 2010, I work at Euroclinic as a member of the Third Orthopaedic Department, of which I became Head at 2024, without letting aside my other commitments and appointments, clinical and scientific. My clinical interest in my everyday orthopaedic practice, originating from my training in Greece and abroad and longtime experience, is hip and knee reconstructive surgery, ranging from arthroscopy to revision joint replacement. During the last decade, following the global orthopaedic community’s developments, I have focused in Fast Track Recover Protocols, Minimally Invasive & Robotic Surgery of these joints, being a pioneer in the field in Greece.
