For the 14th consecutive year, the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital is organizing a Scientific Meeting on “Contemporary Medical Topics”. The event will be held on Saturday 24 November 2018 at Aigli Zappeiou, in the Olympia room, and will be attended by distinguished scientists from the pediatric community as well as invited guests.

The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital is celebrating 16 years of experience in pediatric care and renews its annual meeting with the pediatric community, focusing for yet another year on the young patients, with the ultimate aim being to provide better healthcare services to them.

Prominent pediatricians of the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital, as well as invited guests Anastasia Garoufi, Associate Professor, 2nd Pediatric Clinic, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Polyxeni Nikolaidou-Karpathiou, Professor Emeritus of the 3rd Pediatric Clinic, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, and Vasileios Papadakis, Director of the Hematology-Oncology Department, Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital, will talk about interesting pediatric cases related to their specialty.

Some of the topics that are going to be discussed during the event include “What makes a child more likely to develop asthma”, “Diagnosis and treatment of dyslipidemia in childhood”, “The role of neonatologists and pediatricians in diagnosing inherited metabolic diseases”, and “Reflux disease in infants and children”.

The 14th Scientific Meeting of the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital will be honored to host Mr. Evgenios Trivizas, criminologist and author.

Participation in the Meeting is free of charge and the participating pediatricians will receive 5 CME/CPD credits from the Greek Medical Association.
