ΕΥΡΩΚΛΙΝΙΚΗ ΑΘΗΝΩΝ: ΤΟ ΠΡΩΤΟ ΠΙΣΤΟΠΟΙΗΜΕΝΟ “CENTER OF EXCELLENCE” ΣΤΗΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS
Δυναμικά ξεκινάει η νέα χρονιά για την Ευρωκλινική Αθηνών, στην οποία απονεμήθηκε το πρώτο στην Ελλάδα πιστοποιητικό «Centers of Excellence», από την TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, την Πέμπτη 8 Φεβρουαρίου 2018 στο αμφιθέατρο του Ελληνικού Ινστιτούτου Παστέρ, παρουσία πλήθους ιατρών και λοιπών επιστημόνων.
Η Ευρωκλινική Αθηνών και συγκεκριμένα το Κέντρο Χειρουργικής Θυρεοειδούς και Παραθυρεοειδών Αδένων του νοσοκομείου, με επικεφαλής τον εξειδικευμένο χειρουργό κ. Ευάγγελο Καρβούνη, πιστοποιήθηκε για το υψηλό επίπεδο εξειδίκευσης και εμπειρίας των Επιστημόνων Ιατρών, τη συμμόρφωση της Κλινικής προς τα κριτήρια του Ιδιωτικού Πρωτοκόλλου BP02 – Centers of Excellence, καθώς και τη δυνατότητα να αποτελέσει κέντρο αναφοράς σε πανευρωπαϊκό και διεθνές επίπεδο. Ο ιδιαίτερα μεγάλος αριθμός περιστατικών του Κέντρου, τα εξαιρετικά χαμηλά ποσοστά επιπλοκών σε σύγκριση με τα διεθνή δεδομένα, η εφαρμογή καινοτόμων χειρουργικών τεχνικών, η ενθάρρυνση της συνεχούς εκπαίδευσης και επιμόρφωσης των μελών της ομάδας, αλλά και ο υψηλός δείκτης ασφαλείας του περιβάλλοντος στο οποίο φιλοξενούνται και θεραπεύονται οι ασθενείς, είναι μόνο κάποια από τα χαρακτηριστικά που οδήγησαν σε αυτή τη διεθνή αναγνώριση.
Ο διακεκριμένος χειρουργός και Διευθυντής του Κέντρου κος Ευάγγελος Καρβούνης δήλωσε: «Ως κέντρο υψηλής εξειδίκευσης, αντιμετωπίζουμε ετησίως πολλές εκατοντάδες περιστατικά χειρουργικής θυρεοειδούς και παραθυρεοειδών αδένων, με επιστημονική υπευθυνότητα και σεβασμό στον άνθρωπο. Η διεθνής αυτή διάκριση μας κάνει υπερήφανους και ενισχύει τη δέσμευσή μας, με προσήλωση στις αξίες μας, στη διαρκή επιδίωξη και επίτευξη του ‘Αριστεύειν’».
Από την πλευρά του ο κος Αντώνης Βουκλαρής, Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Ευρωκλινικής Αθηνών δήλωσε: «Η πολιτική ποιότητας που εφαρμόζει τα τελευταία χρόνια ο Όμιλος Ευρωκλινικής αποτελεί έμπρακτο παράδειγμα της προσπάθειάς μας για συνεχή βελτίωση της λειτουργίας μας και τη συμμόρφωσή μας σε Ευρωπαϊκά πρότυπα. Για τη νέα πιστοποίηση, ο Γενικός Διευθυντής της TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, Ιωάννης Καλλιάς, δήλωσε: «Η προσπάθεια εξειδικευμένης ομάδας εμπειρογνωμόνων απέδωσε καρπούς. Είμαστε ευτυχείς για το αποτέλεσμα και έτοιμοι να πιστοποιήσουμε Κέντρα Αριστείας διαφόρων ειδικοτήτων στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Στόχος μας είναι η συνεχής ανάπτυξη και η επιβεβαίωση ότι η TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS είναι και παραμένει στη κορυφή ως ο πλέον αξιόπιστος φορέας πιστοποίησης»
