Euroclinic is making 30 beds and the Emergency Department available to the NHS

Euroclinic supports the National Health System by making available 30 beds and the Emergency Department:

  • 10 beds in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • 20 beds for non COVID-19 related cases
  • its Emergency Department

In its effort to contribute decisively to the care of patients in need during these difficult times for the country, Euroclinic is offering to the National Health System (NHS):

Two additional beds in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), making them 10 in total.

An entire wing fully staffed with a 20-bed capacity for non COVID-19 related cases, contributing to freeing up beds for the NHS reference hospitals during the crisis.

Lastly, it is making available the Emergency Department for all non-infectious diseases

Patients facing a non-infectious disease emergency – surgical, cardiologic, orthopedic, neurological, etc. – may come to the Emergency Department of the Hospital.

Especially in neurological emergency cases, such as cerebral vascular accidents, which require immediate and emergency care, the Athens Euroclinic has a dedicated Stroke Unit, which is on call 24/7.

Euroclinic reassures the citizens that by following the guidelines of the National Public Health Organization (NPHO), it has taken all required measures for early diagnosis and safety of all staff and patients and is on alert to deal with any suspicious cases, based on the official NPHO protocol in force.
