Ms. Katsarou-Pektasidi becomes the Director of the Pediatric Neurology Department!

In the context of upgrading its medical services for young patients, the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital is further enhancing its Neurology Department by welcoming distinguished pediatrician Ms. Efi Katsarou-Pektasidi.

Ms. Katsarou-Pektasidi, former Director and Scientific Head of the Neurology Department at Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital, specializes in Pediatrics and has postgraduate studies in pediatric neurology at The Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London. Having completed 34 years of clinical experience, she has specialized in a great number of pediatric neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as:

• epilepsy,
• cerebral palsy,
• neuromuscular diseases,
• demyelinating and neuroinflammatory diseases, etc.

She has completed her doctoral thesis, has conducted extensive research with publications in renowned Greek and foreign scientific journals, while she was Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Neurological Society.
